Interpretation

Application refers to Examen, the software program provided by the Developer.

Service Provider means any third-party company or infrastructure utility utilized by the Developer to process data, secure authentication, or maintain remote server synchronization (specifically Google Firebase Backend Services, including Firebase Authentication, Firebase Realtime Database, Firebase Analytics, and Firebase Crashlytics).
Usage Data refers to data collected automatically, either generated by the use of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself (for example, application interaction logs, performance diagnostics, quiz interaction telemetry, or crash trace captures).
You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.

Types of Data Collected

1. Authentication & Profile Data

To provide personalized features, progress tracking, and global rankings, the Application uses Google Firebase Authentication and Email Sign-In. We collect:

Email address
Display name and Profile Picture (if provided via your Google Sign-In profile)
A unique User ID (UID) generated by Firebase

2. Quiz Progress & Score Metrics (Core Ledger Elements)

To maintain your historical records and display competitive metrics, the Service handles and processes quiz parameters associated with your profile, including:

Individual quiz scores, category achievements, and completed answer sheets.
Global rank standings, performance statistics, and user interaction tallies.

3. Usage Data & Analytics

Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Service to improve content quality and stability. This includes your Device ID, Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address), unique device identifiers, operating system version, background performance diagnostics, and crash logs collected via Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics.

How Your Data Is Processed (Local vs. Cloud Sync)

To preserve privacy and allow offline functionality, data processing is handled at two distinct operational layers:

Local Database Storage (Room Database Engine): Your immediate quiz scores, local performance tracking parameters, and analytical history are saved directly on your physical handset inside a secure local Room Database block.
Cloud Infrastructure (Google Firebase Architecture): Your authentication session credentials, user metadata profiles, and competitive performance statistics are synchronized remotely under unique identifier nodes inside the Firebase Realtime Database to allow seamless cross-device data recovery and ranking calculations.

Use of Your Personal Data

The Developer uses the collected data for the following essential purposes:

To provide and maintain our Service: Including monitoring quiz session integrity, calculating leaderboard standings, and displaying performance analytical charts.
To manage Your Account: Validating your registry as an authenticated user of the Service to grant access to personalized scoring partitions.
To contact You: Reaching you via email regarding essential security patches, service availability notices, or critical account validation updates.

We do not sell, rent, or lease your academic records, quiz metrics, or personal information to third-party data brokers, advertising networks, or corporate marketing entities.

Absolute Right to Account & Data Deletion

We believe in full user data sovereignty. You have the right to delete your Personal Data and entire quiz footprint directly from within the Service at any time.

Method 1: In-App Account Destruction (Automated & Instant)

Our Application features an automated account destruction control panel. To delete your account, navigate to Settings > Delete Account within the Application. Once confirmed, the system executes an atomic, real-time, and irreversible deletion sequence:

Atomic Local Storage Wipe (Room Database): The application instantly clears your local device database, completely wiping out all historical tables associated with your identity, including quiz scores, custom performance logs, and cached local analytics.
Cloud Database Purge (Google Firebase Realtime Database): The application permanently drops and erases your specific user node and all synchronized scoring metrics from the Firebase cloud servers.
Authentication Eviction (Google Firebase Authentication): Your active session tokens, email association, and secure login credentials are permanently deleted from the core Firebase Authentication backend.

Once you confirm the deletion inside the app, the process completes instantly. This action is permanent, and your quiz progress cannot be recovered.

Method 2: Web-Based / Manual Deletion Request (Email Fallback)

In compliance with Google Play regulations, users who no longer have the application installed can request permanent deletion by emailing sainathhiwale2@gmail.com. Please specify the registered email address. Remote structures will be purged from Firebase nodes within 7 business days.

Disclosure of Your Personal Data

Law Enforcement & Legal Obligations

Under rare circumstances, the Developer may be required to disclose Your Personal Data only if required to do so by applicable laws or in response to valid legal requests by public authorities (e.g., a competent court or an authorized government agency in India).

Zero Advertising & Tracking ID Declaration

We believe in data minimization. This Application is built entirely without ad-serving trackers or monetization toolkits. We do not collect, read, or transmit the Google Advertising ID (AAID) or secondary tracking configurations for promotional target analysis.

Security of Your Personal Data

The security of Your Personal Data is our utmost priority. All transaction traffic processed through our Firebase components is forced via encrypted HTTPS/TLS network wrappers. While we utilize industry-standard mechanisms to guard your data, no method of digital transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute impenetrable safety.

Children's Privacy

Our Service does not knowingly address or target anyone under the age of 13. We do not deliberately gather personally identifiable information from children. If you become aware that a minor under your guard has submitted personal credentials to our database platforms, contact us immediately so we can execute an erasure cycle.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update Our Privacy Policy from time to time to match changing Android requirements. We will notify You of modifications by posting the renewed layout on this page and updating the "Last updated" timestamp positioned at the header block.
